I was there a couple of days ago. All renovations are complete and it is looking pretty good. Lots going on around the Wat, dancers etc. Also, the Ta Tien Pier is closed to boats apart from cross river ferries somto get to Wat Po, all boats stop at Wat Arun and you need to get the ferry across which make the whole area quite busy - too put it mildly!

Hi! Yeah I was there a week ago and it was not under renovation! It looks really beautiful definitely worth going! Just want to kindly let you know that they are really strict about clothing at Wat Po and the Grand Palace. You MUST be wearing long pants and a t-shirt (both men and women). There were SO many people that were stopped and not let in so there were so many people buying shirts that were way overpriced outside of Wat Po and the Grand palace.
