These places abound IME and along every road you will see "Fromage de Chevre" (sp?) signs (Goat Cheese) for sale and inevitably you can see the cheese processing room and goats. I have stopped in at many of these - local farmers welcome you in - of course do buy some fresh Fromage du Chevre there as well.

Sancerre is one of the best bases for a wine/goat cheese tour. One recommended loop:

Go to www.google.fr and type in fromage de chèvre loire dégustation and you'll find a bazillion places. That said, Palenque is right - you'll see signs all over. Just follow them.
