Airport transportation Lisbon
is it feasible/reasonably easy to take public trans from the airport to my hotel at Av. da Liberdade 28, or should I just bite the bullet and take a taxi? First trip to Lisbon and leaving 10/2 thanks Jane

I agree with namakaatwork: Lisbon Taxis are inexpensive and it's not a very long ride. Portela airport is pretty close in.
There are a couple of ATM's in the arrivals area: to your left coming down the ramp toward the airport exits. You can get some Euros there.

When you get to the front of the taxi line at the airport, make sure the driver knows where you are going.
I know this seems silly, but recently when we arrived in Lisbon we needed two taxis. And our driver actually had to tell the other driver where our apartment was. And it was in a location I thought every taxi driver would know right off Rua Augusta which is very easy.
And I would say take a taxi like the others. So reasonable.

You can also take the Aerobus shuttle for a lot less money, and get off at the stop closest to the hotel.
