Cheapest Place to fly into South Carolina
Hello!
My brother needs to go to
S. Carolina, but the flights are pretty pricey. Any suggestions of the cheapest airport to fly into in or near S. Carolina?
Thanks!

From where is he flying and where in SC is he going, how much he is willing to drive. Also, try kayak.com and click on theplace where you tell it to try other airports - enter either Greenville Spartanburg, Charleston, Savannah. Might also try Charlotte. Even Jacksonville, FL.

Just checked random dates Boston-that general area.
Airports lowest to highest: Charlotte, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Savannah, Charleston, Greenville.
But there was not a huge difference in fares from bottom to top, except Greenville. Maybe your brother does not have a realistic idea of how much airfare has gone up in the past year.

WHERE in SC!! Charlotte (VERY close) now has low cost carriers and can be competitive. Before that, it would be Greenville-Spartanburg. The coast is expensive to fly into on week-ends especially Myrtle Beach.
On any given day, it can be cheap or expensive to fly.
