Logan Airport, how to best get from airport to hotel in Financial District
Am looking for the best way to get from Logan to our hotel in the Financial District and return. 6 people + luggage. Not renting a car. Thanks for any input.

Many hotels in Boston offer complimentary shuttle service, charge a nominal fee, or can recommend a reliable one.
And, there's a long list of options with prices, even approximate taxi fares to various hotels, on the Logan website.
You may have to take at least two taxis (depending on luggage) or wait a bit in the queue for a van that will hold all of you and your bags.

I used Knight's shuttle service from Logan to Franklin, nice job, good price. Online quotes & reservations a plus:

Take a hotel shuttle, taxi, or hire a car service. Most general area shuttles (other than complimentary hotel shuttles) charge by the person. With six people it is probably cheapest to hire a car service. They should be able to send a vehicle that will accomodate all of you, and your luggage. If you haven't already done it, check out upanotch's car service/limo suggestion.

Check with your hotel, since your group is so large, they may have a shuttle service from the hotel. I know several hotels in boston offer transportation to and from the airport, especially near the waterfront/financial district.
Have a great time in Boston.

I work in Financial District (by South Station) and typically take Silver Line MBTA bus to Logan (cheap and no slower then a cab, sometimes faster), but I usually travel with just one carry on, so it's not too difficult with all the stairs/escalators. With 6 people/luggage, I would consider either a car service or if hotel provides it, a shuttle bus.

Tell us the name of the hotel and we can tell you which stop to get out on the blue line.
If you use the blue line, take it inbound and have a credit card ready to buy a ticket-buy a roudtrip if you are going back out.
