What numbers do I use to send a Fax to Paris?

Hi,

We have to send a fax to our hotel in Paris for our reservation. They sent us the fax number, but I'm not sure if these are the only numbers I'll need.

I have a total of 11 numbers. Should I start with the + sign that they include also. After + 33 there is the number 1 . Do I just put +33 1 or is it +33 01 . If I do that, it will then give me 12 numbers total, plus the + sign.

Help!!! and thanks.

One more question: when I try to post a question on the French site, it keeps coming up in the General Interest site. Where am I going wrong?

There is no "French site," just a Europe site. Your post is where it should be.

To fax Paris, dial 011-33-1 plus the 8-digit number.

Hi T,

Let's assume that the number you wish to call is

+33 (0)1 83 31 25 67

You dial 011 to get international long distance

You dial 33 to get to France

You dial 1
You leave off the "0" because you are dialing from outside France.

Then the rest of the number.

Thus, 011 33 1 83 31 25 67

If you dial 101686 first, the call will be about 10 cts/min
