4 wheel drive on Oahu?/ Oahu ATV vs.Kauai ATV Kipu Ranch

4 wheel drive on Oahu?/ Oahu ATV vs.Kauai ATV Kipu Ranch
Off to Oahu in May. Haven't been since I was a kid. Always do Kauai, and Big Island, mostly. Do I need a 4 wheel drive on Oahu, like you do on the Big Island to get to some of the great beaches? Also, we've done the ATV ride on Kauai at Kipu Adventures, and it was the most beautiful fun thing. Anyone done the one on Oahu! Thanks

other than the far northwest point, you don't need a 4x4 on oahu for convenient beach access.
haven't done the atv at kualoa ranch yet because it (along with the horseback rides) always seems to be booked weeks in advance. it is a very gorgeous setting...the reason why it's often used in films (pearl harbor & jurassic park to name a few) and tv shows (lost).
