LET'S GO KENYA!
It seemed such a loooong time when I started planning our trip last January but the departure date has finally arrived and we leave Oz next Friday and will start our Safari with ESS on 25 Sep. A huge thankyou to all the Fodorites who assisted with many helpful comments and advice for our first trip to Africa.
Brief Itinerary: 2 nts Samburu Serena, 1 nt Serena Mtn Lodge, 2 nts Island Camp Lake Baringo, 2 nt Sarova Lion Hill, 3 nts Mara Serena. Flt NBO to JNB then hire car for 18 days for leisurely drive to Capetown, fly back to JNB then back home hopefully with lots of great pics and memories to share.
I have often browsed the site and picked up even more info re vaccinations, clothing etc. over the past few months. So, now we are organised (I hope) and packing has started & housesitters organised.
It's been great to have a site such as this with great people willing to share their advice and help. Thankyou!
Judy.
