Norway is not EU and has no plan to use the euro.
Both Denmark and Sweden are EU countries, but both have held referendum that rejected the euro. The Danish currency is pegged to the euro, but it remains a seperate currency.
Finland uses the euro.

Just got back from Copenhagen and Stockholm. They both use their own Kroners...called Crowns by the "natives". 7+ a bit to the dollar in Denmark and 8+ a bit in Sweden. In some of the shops you would see the items priced in Crowns AND Euros.

Danish Crowns in Denmark
Swedish Crowns in Sweden
Norwegian Crowns in Norway.
Euros in Finland.
This is not a question of which currency is best. These are the local currencies, they aren't of any inferior value and they are to be used.
Those tourists from EU countries travelling to Denmark and trying to pay their bus fares et. al. in Euros without even hesitating make me furious.
