help in finding a hotel in Naples

Perhaps someone can help me with this. We will be in Tuscany for 1 week and then 1 week on the Amalfi Coast in Praiano. Since our flight home leaves from Naples at 8:30AM, we decided to spend our last day in Naples and visit Pompeii. WE need suggestions for a hotel to stay in that is moderate in price (about 100-140 Euros) and centrally located. Any suggestions? Thanks

I am just visiting Naples for the first time, for anything but a pass through, but we choose the Hotel Piazza Bellini. It is on the inexpensive side: we are paying 100 euro per night in May.

I don't know that this hotel is particularly well located for the train or the airport, but it seems very well located for seeing a bit of Naples' centro storico.

We had to cancel our trip last year, so I have not stayed at either of these places, but they were two choices that I kept on file because they look really good to me.

tdk,

I stayed one night at the Hotel Pinto Storey*** in the Chiaia district, very nice neighborhood. It was right across the Piazza Amadeus from the metro stop of the same name. Easy 5 minutes ride to the Arch museum and another 5 minutes to the Napoli Centrale station.

A/C, blood orange juice with breakfast. My single room was 85E/ nt in Sept of '05.

Buon viaggio!

Hi tdk320n; We stayed in the Costantinopoli104 and it was great. Found really nice restaurants in the area and 'major museums' were close by. ENJOY Iris P.S. Check tripadvisor for reviews.
