Our future trip to Greece
My husband and I have decided to go to Greece next June (it was a choice between Greece and Croatia).
Now, for an even more difficult decision. Where in Greece to go?
We will have 17 travel days and we will be flying into Athens. We would like to spend the time in either the Peloponnese, Macedonia or Crete (and maybe another island close by). If we do stay on the mainland, we will rent a car, and if we decide on Crete, we will either fly or ferry it.
I have read quite a bit about Crete and the Peloponnese and less about Macedonia. They all look wonderful and interesting and would really appreciate any information and advice from others who have been to these areas.

You face some difficult choices, but no bad ones.

Thank you kja. I have been out of town and just read your trip report. A treasure trove of information.
We were leaning towards Croatia but now we are back to where we started from.

I'm glad you found some useful information in my trip report.
I've been to Croatia, but didn't write a trip report about it. I provided some information on your other thread asking about Greece and Croatia -- if you still have questions, you might add them to THAT thread, as the readers of this thread won't know there are questions in it about Croatia.
