Drive Kenmare to Cliffs of Moer - Stops?

Hi all,

Can't thank you all enough for all the wonderful tips for our upcoming trip (late Oct in Ireland)! One additional question if anyone has advice. We are driving from Kenmare to the Cliffs of Moer and wanted to get any suggestions on where to stop along to way. Based on suggestions the route via Limmerick via N20. Are there a couple stops along the way that you would suggest?

Thanks so much!!
Megan

Tagging with "United Kingdom" isn't going to go down well

Perhaps a re-tag with "Ireland" will get you more response from those of us who mostly look at posts about our favorite destinations.
But since I found you, I would suggest you consider taking the ferry from near Tarbert to Kilimer and swing by Loop Head. We loved that visit. Taking the N67 up to Doolin there are plenty of scenic stops. We got a picnic lunch in Kilkee (or Kilrush)and ate at Loop Head. Of course, we were only coming from Glin; you will be on the road considerably longer before the ferry.
Whatever you decide, enjoy!

"Cliffs of Moer" isn't nearly so bad as my niece who insisted on calling them the "Cliffs of Mohair."
