SPB White Nights boat tours

I have a question on White Nights boat tours covered by St. Petersburg card:

Visit a night-time boat trip for free with St Petersburg Card, choosing a convenient pier:

1. "White Nights"
44, Moyka embankment ("Akva Excurs" company)*
departure daily from 23.45 to 00.10
*Please note: this trip finishes at the Palace embankment, close to Hermitage

2. "Drawbridges Night"
"Pier with Lions" at 2, Admiralteyskaya emb. ("Astra Marine" company)
departure daily at 01.10

As I am going to stay at Courtyard by Marriott on the Vasilievsky island. Is there a way to return to my hotel from the disembarkment points?

Thank you!
John

which is covered by St Petersburg Card.

I’m sorry that I can’t answer your question, but I can’t resist telling a story:

I was in St. Petersburg during the White Nights in 1994, and I wanted to take an evening boat ride on the Neva. I found the pier identified in my guidebook, but it didn’t look much like a place for tourists. But then, nothing I’d encountered had seemed much like I expected, so I went to the counter. The ensuing conversation was very odd, and ultimately involved 4 different people in a bit of a linguistic bucket-brigage, from English to German to French (with 2 French-speakers who apparently couldn't agree on the relevant translations) and finally to Russian and then back again, in reverse. But even after we worked out a “channel of communication” (as it were), the discussion seemed particularly difficult, and the prices they were suggesting for my ride along the Neva seemed outrageously high. Eventually, we realized that I was at the wrong pier and had – they thought – been trying to hire an entire ship and crew! Yes, that would cost a bit more than a ticket for a tour boat. ;-) Once we all recognized our various misperceptions, we all had a good laugh and they directed me to the correct pier.

Yes, I think you will find travel to this magnificent city much easier today.

Hoping that topping your thread brings it to the attention of someone who can answer....

John-- we'll be in SPB at the beginning of July. I have to look into the card. Thanks for mentioning it.

Palace embankment, close to Hermitage - so it's Palace Bridge.

You can return, even if the Palace Bridge is closed. Just by taxi it takes a little more time and distance. Not all bridges are closed simultaneously.

Palace Bridge breakdown schedule - 1:20-2:45 and 3:20-4:50

But betterб if the weather will be good - spend this time on embankment near Saint Isaac's Cathedral. The best photo view will be from there. Popular view from postcards
- the spire of the Peter and Paul Fortress between Palace bridge
