CDG --> ORY

Hi! I will be landing in Paris CDG from USA at 0755 am. I am looking at a flight from ORY to Venice that would leave at 1320 pm that same day. Is this enough time to get through customs, etc (planning on a carry on bag) using the Air France Line 3 bus for the transfer? Thanks!

I'm guessing that's enough time. But isn't there a direct flight from CDG to VCE that works? Try booking it as a round trip instead of a one way if the fare is super expensive - sometimes a round trip is cheaper, and then you can just not use the return.

It should be fine, it would even be better if it is during the weekend (no traffic)

You could also try the RER And Orlyval (change at Antony).

If you travel light you could go via RER B
From CdG to Antony. There orlyval.
Quicker than buses and not caught in possible traffic jams.

I would not at all presume the RER plus transfer plus Orlyval would take less time than the Air France bus. That route takes at least an hour (RER etc). If it does take less, it's not enough that it would be worth that hassle to me (maybe 10-15 minutes at most).

But yes there can be bochons or traffic jams on Paris ring roads so the RER-Orlyval may be dependably fast.

Ok thanks yall! And yes my flight is landing at 0755 on a Saturday AM!! I was planning on the AF bus but maybe I'll do a bit more research and look into the bus!

Also with Easyjet... since I am planning to carry on, (I have a 30L backpack, I am planning to use as my carry on), will that be considered "small enough" to use as a carry on and not have to pay to check a bag? Thanks!

Note that the former Air France bus ("Les Cars Air France" where, in French, a "car" is a coach) are now operating under the name "Le Bus Direct" (see www.lebusdirect.com/prix-navette-aeroport.html).

What is a 30L backpack? Read the exact guidelines on easyJet's website, they make it very clear, and follow them TO THE LETTER.

The RER B is my choice for connecting the airports. It takes something like 65 minutes and there are no traffic jams to worry about.

Mlhduck : your transportation options are very simple: either by bus or RER+ Orlyval, it takes approximately 1h15 of road between the 2 airports. The bus is more expensive (36 E) but is direct. The RER+ Orlyval is cheaper (something like 21 E)and can avoid traffic jams. The transfer between RER and Orlyval is like 2 mins of walking, not like someone has above exaggerated.

Take any of the two that you like.
