NYE Paris

We are looking for something to do on NYE in Paris. We heard that there would be vomit on the Metro. We are staying in the Latin Quarter (St. Germain) and would possibly like to go for a nice dinner. Any suggestions?

There is usually vomit somewhere in the Metro if you are really interested in looking for it along the whole 214 kilometre route.
Vomit and a nice dinner don't go well together IMHO.

On NYE you can expect at minimum Michelin 2-star vomit in the Metro. Paris is like that.

I suspect that's part of NYE and metro systems in all big cities, to be honest.

oh as to where to go, many places are very expensive on NYE, 200 euro and up not unusual. Bouillon Racine in St Germain is one of the cheaper ones at 99 euro. If you don't even want to do that, you have to find some cafe or cheap place that isn't doing anything special for NYE.

You could go to the bar/restaurant in the AUbusson Hotel in St Germain, at least ehy have some entertainment. http://www.hoteldaubusson.com/uk/cafe-laurent.php

If you dont' care about the whole NYE thing, I do like the steak-frite set menu at the Relais d'Entrecote chain and there is one in SG. They are open 7 days a week, so I suspect they will be open, but you'd have to check.
