Price range? Area of city? Quebec has several distinct neighbourhoods that affect the alternatives.

Hi Nancy,
We stayed in a lovely little hotel, very reasonably priced, a couple of years ago. Here's my trip report. I can't promise everything is still accurate but it might be helpful anyway.

The Chateau, hands down.. Sometimes they have very good specials and if you belong to Pres. Club (free) you would be in line for an upgrade if available. Loyality Clubs pay off big time!!!

We loved the Saint-Antoine. I'd dismissed it as being too expensive but we got a very good rate by just showing up. My husband and I liked it much more than the Frontenac.
