most romantic all inclusive riviera maya honeymoon

hello all,
taking my honeymoon in october to riviera maya and i've been to the area twice and love it. i'm looking for a romantic spot thats reasonably quiet. excellent food, nice beach are top priority. neither i nor my fiance are big drinkers. would prefer adults only but not ruling out anything. has anyone been to a welness type resort? or resorts around tulum? our budget for AI is $5000 for 2. I would greatly appreciate any experienced based info on this topic.

The Royal Hideaway is a wonderful adults only all inclusive on a nice beach. The service is fantastic.
In the Tulum area...the Catalonia Royal Tulum is on a gorgeous beach and is a very quiet adults only, but is not at the same level as Royal Hideaway.

Secrets Maroma Beach is very nice on a beautiful beach, but will not necessarily be quiet. They sometimes have corporate groups come there and things get quite loud then.

I highly recommend Mahekal Beach resort. So much ambiance
and most of all
*the beach there is superb*

With that budget you could hide away in the Penthouse or Deluxe Oceanview Room, which would be awesome. It's not adults only, but you certainly can find your peace there. Good food, great service.

If you're looking for a quite spot with beautiful beaches, then Tulum is definitely a good option. There are a variety of boutique eco hotels are spa resorts in the area.

You might also want to think about a vacation rental or hiring your own villa or cabana based right on the beach if you want a relaxing honeymoon, away from the busy resorts. There are some great options for this in Akumal and Tulum.
