It looks like we will be staying in Frehel for 5 nights! Does anyone have any advice on what to see in the area, besides Mont Saint Michel?

Saint Malo and the Dinan come to mind.

Oh, interesting changes of plans. What made you change your mind about Tregunc? Also, are you still thinking to post your final itinerary on here?

Hi Denise,
thank you for showing interest in helping me plan this trip. I am still working on the final itinerary, have a detailed plan for half of the trip up until Frehel stay and then have just the booked accommodation for the rest of the journey, will sit and work on the rest of the plan tomorrow. With regards to Tregunc, it wasn't our decision, but the sports event organizers'. Thank god, I booked all hotels with a chance to cancel them free of charge

Could anyone else suggest some ideas for day trips in Normandy (preferably just outside Frehel)?

Maybe a day trip to Saint-Malo? Doesn't look too far off.

Looks impressive, doesn't it?

I was keeping an eye on this thread. Wonder how your intense trip turned out!

I haven't been on Fodors for a while! But the trip went great. But.. I have to agree with everyone the whole itinerary was a bit rushed. Anyway, looking back now I don't think I could plan it any differently. Unless my parents would agree just to go by plane and spend all of the time in a single location. I might write a trip report soon though. Will make sure to let you know
