Road trip to Yosemite and Oregon Coast
 

Planning a two-week road trip to Yosemite and Crater Lake and the Oregon Coast. Looking for some suggestions on other places to see from the locals in Oregon and California.

Where are you coming from? Driving your own car?
The north entrance to Crater Lake will not be open before July 1 if that makes any difference to you.

Oregon Caves National Monument

A Jet Boat Tour in Oregon-There is one inland call Hellgate
and there is another on the coast called Mailboat(something like that).

Redwoods National Park-specfically The Stout Grove and the drive down Howland Hills Road. Prairie Creek-hike the James Irvine Trail, which is right behind the visitor centers. Hike it all the way to the ocean. The last half mile is Fern Canyon which is neat to see.

Patricks Point State Park-nice tidepooling-go at low tide

Burney Falls is a nice waterfall.

Are you going further north than Crater Lake?
What month?

wineries in both CA and OR. Or wineries are not crowded and I don't think they charge like someof the CA wineries

We are going as far north as Mt. St. Helen's in WA. and then heading back down along the coast of Oregon.
