Ummm, Crabtree Falls is in NC near Asheville basically. This makes little sense to me--and we have been to Crabtree many times in the past. It is a great place to visit--just north of Asheville.

Birdie, pick a weekday if you can to avoid the crowd--it is an incredibly popular hike and the whole thing is paved. It's beautiful, though. And I have been quite a few times--the water flow varies considerably so go on a post-rain day if you can.
