Thank you TomFuller for the update on June openings. The photos by Jeverett are fantastic! We were in Oregon last October and upon returning home, immediately put it on the "must return!!' list!!

Let us know what sections of Oregon that you saw and what sections you missed and would like to check out. In the past 12 weeks Oregon has had 151 deaths from Covid-19 which is less than some states had in 1 day during their peak. Our governor sent 140 ventilators to New York. It looks like we will not be needing them back anytime soon.
We still have some MAGA types that still won't wear a mask. Our Walmart has one way markings on the floor. Shoppers seem to ignore them.

Thank you, TomFuller!! We drove from Mt Shasta into Oregon. Decided not to go to Crater Lake this time, as the lodge was closed. We went via Klamath Falls to Bend, out to the Painted Hills and Dayville, up to Hood River and the spectacular Gorge, to the coast at Cannon Beach, back to Portland, then had the fun of an overnight sleeper room on the Amtrak Starlight Express back to Oakland. I've been fortunate to visit many places around the world but this, so close to my home, was one of the very best trips ever!! Memories of it make for instant joy. Next time thinking to drive up via the Northern California Coast and see more of Oregon's spectacular coastline. Will return to this forum for tips and ideas before a future trip. Thanks again for your reply. Enjoy your beautiful State as it re-opens!
