East Coast Family Road Trip
 

Hello All...

In need of some help. My husband and I are planning on taking our kids (9 and 6yrs) to the east coast Mid August. We will be driving from Toronto and have 10 days for the trip. We are in desperate need of advice on what route to take, where to stop and what to see. We would like to take our boys whale watching and would like to see the Flowerpots and also the Cabot Trail. We are hoping to do a day in Halifax to show the boys where their grandfather came to Canada through.

Please help...this is our first time out east...we have already been to Quebec City twice and would like to avoid staying there again.

We were also told that the drive through the US is more picturesque than that of the 401.

Any advice is greatly appreciate.
