30 Day Road Trip Across America
 

Hello,

I am hoping some of you can provide advice. Myself, my brother and cousin, all in our early twenties, are planning a cross country road trip for two years from now. We live in upstate New York and have traveled extensively across the east coast but would like to see other areas of America. I have used a travel website to plan an itinerary and would like some feedback regarding the trip. Any suggestions on better routes, other things to see, length of the trip, etc., would be appreciated. We plan on traveling for no more than 30 days. I hope you realllllly like your RV, as that will be pretty much the only thing you see on this trip, unfortunately.

What happens if you hit traffic? There's bad weather? you've left zero time for issues like that.

You will get more response by posting on the U.S. forum.
I too think you have too much driving and not enough seeing, but if it suits you, fine.

Given when you are planning on going you have plenty of time to rejig things.
Meanwhile read William Least Heat-Moon's Blue Highway, a well written book on a road trip around the U.S.
