Villas Nicolas - HELP
As I will be travelling around Costa Rica for a couple of months I am trying to book a couple of places at the beginning and at the end of my trip. I was e-mailing Villas Nicolas about dates but suddenly all communication stopped. I have tried phoning but the line goes unanswered. Is there anyone in the area that can help. Thanks

Suze: You might try e-mailing Si Como No, which is right smack next door to Villas Nicolas. Perhaps they have some information about the reason for the lack of response. If not, maybe they would be willing to deliver a message to the front office. You can e-mail them at [email protected]. Good luck and let me know what happens. I loved my stay at Villas Nicolas, but am reluctant to recommend them based on your experience.

Thanks, never thought of contacting si como. Kristine was the person I had been e-mailing. She is from the same town in Canada and we were looking forward to seeing each other which is why the sudden no replies were un settling. I am off tomorrow for 2 mos. Thanks for all the help and info from everyone. s

Hi,

We just returned from Costa Rica and a stay last week at Villas Nicolas. All is well. Do you have the email as [email protected]?

I would advise you to ask for one of the mid level units if you want peacefulness. The top units have great views but you can hear the street traffic starting very early in the morning and the pool noise during the day.

Chez Denis, the restaurant run by a very gracious and friendly Canadian, is the best food we had while in Costa Rica. The food at Si Como No wasn't bad either.

Have fun. It is a wonderful country and the people are great. We also stayed at the Hotel California and that was a very nic experience. The staff there is very very accommodating and the hotel owner is very friendly.

I have another question about Villas Nicolas. I am booked there for several nights in mid-March. I don't see anything on their website about A/C. Should I take that to mean that none of the rooms are air-conditioned? How un/comfortable will that be in March?
