travel times to TAPO

hi there - trying to decide where to stay in DF - all things being equal my short list is:

Hotel Catedral,
Hostal Catedral,
Casa Gonzales
Hostal Moneda (except apparently it is non-smoking)
Hostal Home (in Colonia Roma)
Hostal Coyote Flaco (in Coyoacan).

Any comments on the named hostelries above would be welcome, but I was wondering about the relative travel times from each of these areas to TAPO and/or the airport.

Centro Historico
Colonia Roma
Coyoacan

Oh, and any other suggestions for cheap and cheerful would be welcome. Prefer old to new; like gardens, a roof, a terrace, light - a balcony if possible (don't care about noise). Will happily trade faded furnishings/spartan furnishings for any or all of the above!!

Am assuming there are no problems at all now (many doomsayers here) about staying close to the Zocalo now that the defeated candidate's supporters have moved on.

Would that be right?
