travel agent for int'l flight?
Hi - I'm about to book my flight to Buenos Aires from New York for mid November (decided to go at the last minute!). I'm seeing fares online for about $800 r/t. I'm ready to book, but am also considering using a travel agent to help me book the rest of the trip. Will there be any advantage (cost or otherwise) to me booking the whole trip (including NY-Buenos Aires RT flights) with the travel agent rather than booking the int'l flight and certain other items (BA hotel for instance) on my own?
Many thanks!

I used the very professional and helpful Cintia Stella to handle all my in country arrangements (flights, hotels, etc) but did the international flight on my own. I don't believe a travel agent will find much better fares than what you are finding. Buen viaje. It is a wonderful destination.

Thanks! That was what I was thinking. I'll probably book my int'l flight on my own and will try a TA for the rest. I never use a TA because I like to choose hotels, excursions on my own, but from the comments on this forum, a TA seems the best (easiset, etc.) way to go for Argentina. Thanks for your suggestion too Avrooster!
