Should I go to Puerto Vallarta or Mazatlan in July??

I am curious if anyone likes one better than the other and for what reasons?? I'm 21 and travelling to Mexico for the first time in the beginning of July. The resort club Sunterra that we belong to have condos in Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan which both look wonderful! I want to relax on beautiful beaches, but I also want to go to clubs and have a blast! Which place is better?? Thanks! email- [email protected]

I agree with Matt. I've been to both
places and PV is the way to go.
Thank you for your input! Why do you think PV is better?

Another vote for PV (I've also been to both). PV is cleaner, more to do; Maz looked to me to be a very old resort town, past it's prime. You can, however, have a good time in both, just more options in PV.

Sandy

To me PV has much more friendlier people. I found that the locals in Maz
were not quite as willing to help you
out if you needed it as where in PV the locals are always willing to help. Also there is much more to do in PV and everything is easily accessible where as in Maz I found it to be quite spread out.
