Private Car from Mexico City to Teotihuacan
My wife and I will be in Mexico City in February and would like a private car and driver from our hotel in Centro (Hampton) to and from Teotihuacan. We do not want to go to "artisans studios" tequila tastings and other side trips and thinly disguised shopping events we see in some of the websites that do tours. We've read good reviews of Royal Cars and Tours. We'd appreciate any experiences (costs/lunch etc.)from our Fodor friends on them and others.

When I stayed at Galeria Plaza in the Zona Rosa area, the hotel hired a driver for me. He took me to the pyramids and to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. He was quite informative and pointed out things that I probably would not have known or learned from a regular tour bus guide. He also took me to a restaurant called "La Gruta" in the caves by the pyramids. Good lunch !!!! He drove a newer car that was air-conditioned.
