Just back from Argentina and Chile- Buenos Aires was great, but caution for a young woman alone- a friend from Spain got taken by a taxi cab driver alone at night- money-- Be aware- Don,t miss Iguasu Falls and we really liked Bariloche and Mendoza. All safe-- Fun and more to do in B.A. Any questions - write

The cares you should take are the same that in every megacity in the world. Must see: the Patagonia, for sure. More info: write directly. I am Argentinian, and I travelled all along my country.
God Bless

I agree with all of the above. Try to get to Mendoza at the foot of the Andes, it is a smaller city with a younger feel to it, Like a college town. Buenos Aires is a beautiful city with several great museums and theatre. I'm a geezer so didn't see much night life. Good luck and have a great time.

I agree with the previous messages. On nightlife Buenos Aires is probably the best spot in Argentina with all the amenities that you may find in an European capital (and great jazz concerts), although clubs tend to be more American than European.
From Buenos Aires, good luck

Rebeca, I was born and live in BsAs with my husband and kids. Although lots of bad things are said about safety rules here, this is a much more secure city than many big cities in the States. I can give you advice if you email me. Come down and you will discover "El Dorado" (just with no gold at all). Good Luck.

Rebecca,
Are you out of your mind ???
23 years old femele ? wants to go
to Argentina alone ? That's pretty
irresponsible and naive. Do you speak Spanish ? Look into organized tours.
Please.
