Oaxaca lodging
Looking for something comfortable, but not extravagant, in Oaxaca for about a week or so in April 2012. We probably won't have a car, so near the center of the city is best, but hopefully not too close to the noise.
Our time is likely to overlap with Semana Santa, so we're thinking we should start looking early. Hopefully we can find ideas for places with websites, so we can make reservations.
We are a well-traveled couple, late 50s to early 60s, active and adventurous, not into chain-style resorts. I speak passable Spanish.
Any suggestions?

We liked the Hotel Marques del Valle, but it is right on the zocalo and for less noise, an interior room is desirable.
