need snorkeling recommendation on Ambergris Caye

I've looked for companies that do snorkeling trips to Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley, and about the only one I've found is Searious. It does get good reviews on Trip Advisor, but I was wondering if there were any other options. Anyone have any other recommendations? Is it necessary to plan in advance during Christmas busy season, or will we be able to be spontaneous once we're there. That said, we really only have one day open to do it.....

We did ours through our hotel, but Seaduced and Ecologic Divers are two other companies that seem popular.

We went with Ecologic Divers (booked through our hotel and they were great. As their name implies - very environmental conscious - didn't touch the sting rays etc like so many others seemed to do at Shark Ray Alley. We had the same guide for 3 different trips - Hol Chan/Shark Ray Alley, Mexico Rocks, and a Learn to Scuba and he was great. I'd definitely use them again.

We just walked down the main street and had lots to pick from. It can be a rough ride if the weather is choppy, so pick someone with a substantial boat.

A friend and I vacationed in San Pedro a year ago this month. We booked all our tours through Searious Adventures and were not disappointed. They are a top notch outfit with super friendly employees. Enjoy a Belikin beer for me!!

Alphonse Graniel (Lil' Alphonse) is about the best on the island. He's very personable, enthusiastic, and really cares that his clients enjoy themselves on his trips.
