Mexico hotel choice with plenty of restaurants

I'm looking for the same thing everyone else is. Beautiful water , resort right on the beach with beautiful sand , plenty of restaurants to choose from ( and not just buffets) 24 room services ( for older parents) actives ( since I have some 20 years olds going) etc....

I was looking at IBerostar and it looks great , but I just want to be sure!! We stayed at the GR Solaris a few years back and i did not like the food and the beach was just ok, not what I wanted!! Maybe we were in the wrong area that is why I am trying to change areas. Don't get me wrong the GR was a beautiful resort very clean and the rooms were nice and big, it's just we didn't care for the area that much and the food was not that great either..

I really don't care where we go its just my TA said mexico is the best place to get your moneys worth! I would like plenty of restaurants to choose from because I am traveling with very picky eaters. I also would love the water to not be so choppy because I don't swim .

My husband and son will be doing scuba diving so near a place that does that would be great .

Also do all the resorts have water purification now?

I guess I would just like some help on to where you all have been? and did you enjoy it ? Would you go bacK?

Any help would be great !
