Has anyone heard of a trip that leaves Puerto Vallarta to Guadalajara every Thurs eve at 9pm and returns Fri eve at 9pm...I don`t know if it is air trip or a long bus trip ...Thanks

It's a 5 hour bus ride from Guadalajara to PV, so if it were a bus trip, you wouldn't have much time in Guadalajara. It's a great city to visit and you really would need more time there. We had 3 or 4 nights, I think, which was great.

We flew to Guadalajara for three days from P.V. and it was well worth while..Guadalajara is filled with parks, fountains, the flea market and of course the works by Rivera.. Our reason for visiting was to go to Talaquepaque for the day..then another day went to Lake Chapalla.

Barry, it could be either one (a long bus ride or short plane trip both might fit the info you posted). As mentioned above, the bus PV/Guad is 4-1/2 to 5 hours. I wouldn't do it unless you had at least 2-3 days to spend there.

The other consideration is how long are you staying in Puerto Vallarta? If you've got 1 month, sure take in Guadalajara. If you only have 1 week, if it were me, I'd stay put in PV!

Suze...i will be staying in PV for 10 days (my second trip)and i thought a 2 day trip might work. I would like to leave early one morning and and return the following evening if i can plan it
