How to spend 8 days in Panama
I need to use a week of my vacation by the end of March, so I thought it would be nice to visit Panama for about 8 days in March.
We are a middle age couple, in average physical shape, and interested to see a bit of the old city, Panama canal, indigenous people and maybe a bit of snorkeling.
Seeing wildlife and birds is always a bonus.
For this trip, we are not interested in museums, coffee plantations, or any serious physical activities.
I was thinking to spend 3-4 days in Panama city with day trips to canal (partial transit), Embera village. maybe Gatun lake, etc, and then remaining days at San Blas islands or Bocas Del Toro.
I am a bit concern about type of accommodations available at San Blas.
I would love to hear your thoughts on where to go and day trip suggestions/tour operators as well.
Thanks in advance!
