Ease of buying hardware and hiring contractors

Jump to last reply

I am considering buying property in Roatan and wondered how easy it is to get hardware like tools to do home repairs.
Also, what does it cost there to hire a plumber?
I have noticed the awful plumbing in Honduras. Is it bad in the houses I my buy in Roatan? The building standards?
Also, do the showers stink from sewer gas? It is a problem on the mainland. No traps.
Thanks!
