Dream Tulum or Dreams Riviera?

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are planning a trip with our 3 year old daughter -it was suggested to us to consider Mexico for their AI properties as well as kids clubs. Since the Dreams resorts seem to be te only ones who will take kids of the age 3 to their kids clubs, we were pretty much narrowed down because of that. Neither of us have traveled to Mexico before so have some reservations (mainly getting sick).
I guess I'm looking for some recommendations between the Tulum and Rviera properties. We were originally drawn to Tulum since it was a little smaller scale and not in the hustle and bustle of busy Cancun. We are looking to relax, first and foremost.
But I'm not sure how the kids clubs compare (if there is any difference) or if one property is more upscale (clean, renovated, etc.). Ive heard the Tulum beach can be rocky, while the Riviera one has a seaweed issue. So I guess there are pluses and minuses to each. Just looking for some friendly advice. Thanks!
