Dining on the Beach in Cancun

We are headed to Cancun in late September and are wondering where it is possible to have dinner right on the beach. I know Gustino's at the JW Marriott offers it but I wanted to know if there is anywhere else. We are staying at the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach. Thanks! (PS, already plan to eat at Laguna Grill, Lorenzillo's, La Habichuela and La Joya)

I think, but am not positive, that the newly renovated Hilton, next to the Royal Resorts, has a restaurant on the beach...

Might want to rethink Lorenzillo's.

One trip there and the $175 bill for two for rubber lobster was enough for me...

Two thumbs up for La Hab and Laguna.

You need to redefine "beach". Some of your restaurant choices are not on the Caribbean/Gulf of Mexico but rather the inland bay. There are many wonderful restaurants overlooking that body of water including your choices of Laguna Grill and Lorenzillos but don't think that they are on a sandy beach. They're not. We ate at Laguna Grill in July, wonderful restaurant!, and were visited by the croc (or was it an alligator?!) swimming in the water below the deck on which we were seated. Harmless and enjoyed by the kids. Add Captain's Cove on to your list.

I know those other restaurants are not on the beach, that's why I asked where dining (on a sandy beach) was available. Just listed the others to see reactions and give an idea of the type of places we might like. Thanks to all for the suggestions.
