Costa Rica - osa lodging - lookout inn or las caletas

Hi,
Has anyone stayed at the Lookout inn or at Cabinas Las Caletas? Trying to choose between the two for part of our trip to Osa. (we will be at BDC but in a garden cabina for the rest so want something on the ocean)
Thank you!

Drake Bay Las Caletas better loacated reviewed on

www.tripadvisor.com also like www.jinetesdeosa.com

boat to www.corcovado.org

www.lookout-inn.com at Carate closer to park.

I prefer Drakes

Las Caletas would be a great choice, I think. Beautiful beach front. Casual. Lots of wildlife, though not as much as BdC. When is your trip?

Thank you. We booked there originally but then I wasn't sure if we should change, so I appreciate the reassurances!
We are going mid-February. This is our second trip to Osa but first to these areas. Yay!

Annie, we'll be at BdC Feb. 12-20 (half the time in a garden cabina). Do our dates coincide at all?

When at Las Caletas, ask for directions to a private trail a bit up the beach (opposite direction than Drake's Bay). A local man asks a minimal fee for hiking there, and he will give you a tour of his medicinal herb garden if you ask.

The first 4 nights we'll be your only neighbors in the garden area - well, except for the pumas, coatis, snakes, frogs.....
