I am a TA who has sent clients there, one really fussy couple and they came back singing the praises of this resort, liked everything about it, said the staff was wonderful and worked soooo hard on the entertainment and said they did a good job in every department..have fun

I have booked one week at Club Viva Maya, Jan,2000. Like yourself I was looking for info. I surfed the net one night and found a couple who had posted there entire collection of honeymoon pics. I was going through them when my computer crashed, and did not take note of the website. I have been unable to find it again. From what I could see it looks very nice. Their comments were generous and made it seem like a good place to go. I have children travelling with us and was concerned that it would be family oriented without being a "Disney" vacation, as I prefer a more relaxed approach to travel. Good luck, and perhaps by chance we will be at the Maya at the same time, having a positive experience.

My husband and I stayed there earlier this year. Very nice resort. The grounds are well kept. The food was ok buffet style. Try to eat at the restaurant where you need reservations. It is much nicer, romantic and you will be waited on. The entertainment is whacky, you might have a good laugh. You will enjoy the area and playadel carmen is magical, especially at nights.
