Cancun - Le Meridien or Gran Melia

My husband and I are going to Cancun in early Sept. Has anyone stayed at either Le Meridien or Gran Melia? I'd like some input to help make our decision.

Although I haven't stayed at either hotel from what I have read and heard from other people Le Meridien is on the same level as the Ritz Carlton. Try different web sites and read all the info. I was in Cancun and stayed at the Marriott and The Fiesta American Grand Coral Beach I though they were great!!! I have seen Le Meridien and it looks
beautiful. A truly top class hotel!!!!!
Hope this helps Have a great vacation!!!

I'd definitely go with Le Meridien.

I have a friend who worked recently at Grand Melia and left for JW Marriot. he said the environment for workers at GM wasn't great. HE blamed it on Latin ownership and really prefers JW. Le Meridien is beautiful from the outside!!
