Buganvilias Resort Vacation Club

RCI has offered us a great deal to go to this resort in June.
Can anyone tell me about it?
I've read mixed reviews on Tripadvisor.
Is it Gold Crown quality? In a good location? Close to restaurants, etc., so we won't be killed with taxi fare?
Is Puerto Vallarta a neat place to visit? What to do?
Any advice will be much appreciated!!!!

I stayed in Nuevo Vallarta and passed this resort on the way into town. This resort was just outside of the center of town and had a nice beach.

The Sheraton has the best location It is a very nice hotel has everything you would want, although the beach has not recovered since hurricane Kenna 2 or 3yrs ago but they have 2 great pool areas that are right on the beach. I think it's a nice hotel going next week and have been going for many many yrs. Try it you will like tit.

It's very close to town, and taxis are not expensive. There's also the local bus system that's really cheap and fun.
