Buenos Aires Tour Guide
We are on the verge of booking a tour guide in Buenos Aires. Does anyone have any experience with any of these: buenostours.com or baprivatetours.com
Other recommendations are appreciated.
Thank you

Hi Meath!
I had the loveliest tour guide named Mercedes Aranda. SHe took me to Tigre and hooked up everything for city tours...she works with a larger company but contacting her personally is the best. Her email is [email protected] . I also recommend her because her prices are GOOD and the quality of her attention is priceless. Also, for touring ideas you should check out http://www.buenosairesstay.com They have activities and tours in every neighborhood and other random pieces of advice.

Hi Meath1 - I was in Buenos Aires in early October - just about a month ago, and I did a lot of research on tour guides in advance. I ended up booking Buenos Aires Historico and Judy was my guide. She was very friendly, high energy and passionate about Buenos Aires. I booked a half day tour with her and wished we had booked a full day....
I also corresponded with Peter from Fall in Love with BA - I really liked the vibe that I got from him and he also sent me some good info in advance on Buenos Aires recommendations, restaurants, tango shows, safety tips, etc. His prices were also reasonable. I found him because he was the tour guide Samantha Brown from the Travel Channel used when she visited Buenos Aires, but unfortunately Peter was in Patagonia when I visited BA and our schedules conflicted.
I believe either of these companies would be great choices. I don't have experience with the ones you mentioned, but hope this helps. Good luck!
