Boaque del Cabo confirmation?

In general how long does it take for you to receive an email confirmation after you've sent your deposit check? I sent my check out on April 15 and i havent heard anything back from them aside from questions i was asking. My trip is next week!

Took them recently about a month. May want to drop Leonardo or Jose a quick email to confirm that they've rec'd it and haven't deposited it yet.

They lost my first deposit check, but I didn't find out until I contacted them 3-4 weeks later. I then had to send a check to a different address.

It seems like their mail isn't all that reliable. They asked me to mail their bills for them once I got back to the States. Agree with everyone else, just drop them an e-mail.

Is it common for mail to get lost in Costa Rica? Earlier this year I went to Casa Corcovado and had to mail my payment to their Miami address about 40 days prior to arriving. I'm not sure how it gets from Miami to Costa Rica, but my check was lost not just once, but twice! For the second time, they had me mail it to a different Miami address. I had to stop payment on both checks, and my bank charged $25 each. I ended up paying by credit card once at the hotel. Too bad they didn't take the initial payment by credit card.

I contacted Jose and they have just received my deposit. I will be staying in the Congo cabina which from what I've read has amazing views. I'm super excited for my first trip to Costa Rica next week!

Congo has a stupendous view, you will find yourself out there for long periods of time reminding yourself to get out on the trails I've had lots of great monkey troops views right from the deck, have a great time there!

We stayed in Congo and it was wonderful. We had a whale hanging out near the rock for a couple of days!
