Best Spa in Cabo

We are hitting Cabo over July 4th and wife wants to go to a NICE spa, Fours Seasons level. There is one at Villa La Palma(?) next door (Medrano Beach) to us but not sure of the quality. Have heard the Playa Grande Resort has very nice facility. I assume Pueblo Bonita Pacifica is nice but not sure if they allow anyone in, i.e., non-guest. We could go to the Sheraton, which was a place we considered staying. In fact don't they have the herbal sauna?

It doesn't have to be the Fours Seasons but nice with sauna, steam, nice facilities.

Thanks for your input.

Post your question over at Tripadvisor. The Los Cabos board is very active there.

I went to the one that that is in Villa del Arco, which is next to Villa del Parma. It was the most phenomenal spa I have ever been to.

Thanks Michelle. I have scoured the forums over there and found a few - Playa Grande, Pueblo Bonito Pacifico, Rose, or Holistica, and perhaps the Sheraton.

Jackie, thanks for the input. I am hoping that one is very nice since we are staying right next door. Would be nice not to have to drive somewhere. Have heard some reports that VDA is getting worn or dated, so I wasn't sure what the spa was like. I am sure it will suite our needs.

I was there last May. Both Villa del Arco and the spa seemed brand new, so I don't know how it could be dated so quickly. In fact, we took a tour and got roped into buying a timeshare there it was so nice. So beware and don't drink the margueritas if you take the tour--it was the drinks that made me do it!!!

Enjoy your stay.

I would think all of these places have nice spas. We have stayed at PB Sunset Beach and their spa appears very nice. I just haven't wanted to pay the $$$. I did do a cheap massage at a place in town called Bel-Aire. $40 and they did a great job, but the atmosphere was lacking.

Villa del Arco is the newer property at the Villa del Palmar complex. My good friends also just bought a timeshare at VDA

Watch Out

it's "Medano Beach"
...i'm not being picky about your spellling, but in case you want to google it or tell a taxi driver or something! Besides the resort spas there's a new one downtown that I read about recently over on the Trip Advisor forum that sounded amazing.

Catching up on old Conde Nast Traveler magazines....there was an article about top spas and I rememebered this thread. #2 on the international list is one&only Palmilla with 94.4 points and #7 is Las ventanas al Paraiso with 91.2 points.
