Have you bought a guidebook? Asuncion isn't exactly a tourist hotspot. I'm not surprised that no one here's been there.

Fodor's guidebook to South America has a chapter on Paraguay.

I've been to Paraguay several times, but it's not a popular travel destination. I'd get a guidebook for the most solid information.

This reply is probably to late, but for anubody else there is an excellent English speaking driver and qualified tourguide in Asuncion that I use. He also does conversation translations. You can contact him on 0981703093.
