All Inclusive in Maya Riviera

I am looking for a family friendly all-inclusive in the Maya Riviera for a stay this August. I am looking for a nice place (4 or 5 stars)...Any recommendation much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, I took my kids to Xpu-Ha Palace and they absolutely loved it! It was several years ago, and they still talk about it (they are 16-21 now).

Here is a link:

There are so many family friendly AI resorts in Riviera Maya. It would help to know more of what you are looking for.
The Barcelo and the Iberostar resorts come to mind when I think of family friendly resorts.
If you are going in August you will want to make sure you can eat your dinners in air conditioned restaurants. The Iberostar Paraiso Lindo and Maya have all air conditioned restaurants....even their dinner buffets.

Gran Velas is top notch and more expensive than most family AI resorts. They also cater to large corporate groups so it can get loud and rowdy at certain times, but then a lot of the bigger resorts have conventions come in. I'm not so sure the Grand Velas has programs/activities for young children if that is important to you.
The Iberostar Maya would be the highest level you can go with a child. They have a great "kids club" there for your little one and the children put on nightly shows!

Grand Palladium, hands down! I've been to that resort a number of times as well as the one they have in Jamaica, and I have nothing but good to say about it!

THe IB Linco/Maya doesn't really have a water park. They have a wave pool and a VERY lazy river....no water slides, etc.
The Barcelo resorts have more of what is refered to as a "water park".
