a group trip to costa rica and guatemala

We are a couple from Israel in our 60s. We have a wedding in the Florida in November and want to visit Costa Rica and Guatemala each trip for about 7-9 days.
We want to take an organized tour. I have been investigating on the net and it seems to these 2 countries, we must take separate trips as trips that include them both include other countries and are long.
Any recommendations for tour companies that are reliable and have good tour guides?
thanks

You might want to try and get in touch with Marina Villatoro - http://travelexperta.com/ her company does travel in both Costa Rica and Guatemala. I have read some great reviews of the services, and have talked to Marina online, she is a really nice lady.
Cheers

Just a warning that November isn't the best time to visit Costa Rica since it's still the rainy season. The later you would go in the month, the better chances of less rain.

Have you checked out OAT - Overseas Adventure Travel or Caravan Travel? They do lots of group tours, but I'm not sure if they run in Nov.

It's also very easy to plan your own trip and have private drivers transport you to the various locations.

Also look into Caravan Tours. They do a very good Costa Rica tour.

We have used Rhet from Mexcal travel for a couple of our trips. He runs the trips himself so it's would be a private trip just with your group. He can work with whatever your price range might be.
In April we went to Lake Atitlan with him and in May we went to the Rio Dulce area. His main concern is safety.

However you decide to go enjoy Guatemala. It's a great place to visit.
