Would have made more sense to do Sarapiqui and Cahuita immediately before or after Tortuguero. Maybe you can change your flight date.

Looks like a great trip. Hope you have a great time. I wish I had known about the Nature Pavilion when we were there.

I agree with RAC. Sarapiqui and the Carribean area should be done around the Tortuguero portion of your trip.

I've done a similar trip and would rearrange a bit but keeping as is won't make or break you. I'm not clear on which areas you're spending nights vs. passing through. is it 3 total nights (1st, last and mid-way before rafting) that you're spending near San Jose, 2 nights in Tortuguero, 4 nights Puerto Jimenez/Corcovado, 3 nights Uvita, 2 nights San Gerardo, 4-5 nights Puerto Viejo/Manzanillo/Cahuita/Punta Uva? Where exactly are you planting yourself on the Caribbean side? I see you have a car for the PJ/Uvita/SGD portion, will you be driving to Turrialba or how are you getting to Turrialba? How aer you getting around after the rafting?

To me it makes perfect sense. Flying from Tortuguero to Puerto Jimenez is only way to make it in a day. No need for a rental car both in Tortuguero and in Puerto Jimenez/Corcovado. Ending such an intensive travel with some relaxing days on the Caribbean side is almost a must. Anyway, Tucanetto is already half way to Costa Rica, the land of Pura Vida.
