I did the Sky Trek mainly because most people steered us that way and told us it was the better/more adventurous of the two. I believe Sky Trek has longer, higher and more lines than the Original. I can't comment on the Original, but I thought Sky Trek was great.

We did Selvatura. I liked that the ziplines were in the cloudforest. Selvatura is near the Santa Elena reserve. I think there is also a 4th zipline company in Monteverde, but I don't recall the name.

We did Sky Trek at Santa Elena at the end of a trip because we had heard it was the best. There are some long and high lines there. Absolutely had a blast.
We wanted to get to Monteverde at least once and waited for Sky Trek. However, after making the rough ride around the lake from Arenal in our rental I don't think we will make a second stop there. My husband laughs and says, "Been there, done that!"

The Fodor's and Frommer's guidebooks seem to really like Orignal.
