Zacateces
 

Anyone been to Zacateces recently? New travel advisory out for the area although they say the town itself is safe and I noticed in doing a general search that a travel advisory was out several times for that area throughout the years.

Trying to decide if I want to add it to our itineary for San Miguel de Allende, Querataro and Guanajuato.

Michael, you have done a lot of tirp reports (wow, a LOT!) but I went back to the start of 2006 and all I see in your profile are two questions (one abt hotels in Zacatecas and one re whether to go to Zac, or Morelia) in Janury 2006. I do not see a trip report after that which includes Zacatecas.

I really would like to read the trip report if it exists, can you lead me to it because it doesn't seem to be on fodors, unless I missed it afte rgoing thru your reports twice...

It's Guadalajara and Zacatecas.

Now I see why I could not find it. The trip report was done in 2/06, but you topped the report w/an additional posting in Feb. 2010. So if anyone else is looking for the report, lok at Michael's postings from Feb. 2010.

But it can be found under its name in the list of my trip reports and by just typing Zacatecas in the general search in the Mexico - Central America forum.
